Put a fighter in the ring.
Our leaders are not meeting the moment at any level of government, especially nationally. Our children's future deserves someone that is not afraid to advocate on behalf of schools, employees, parents, and students!
I don't believe in throwing my hands in the air and saying "Oh well, we lost funding" and just approve cuts. Not without fighting for every dollar, calling legislators, talking to the community, or writing grants. We don't cut programs, deny union requests, allow teachers to spend out of pocket, deny parent support requests unless we've tried everything.
It shouldn't have to be "We can't." I believe in "Let us find the way."
